Today was the day. she looked into the mirror in her bathroom glancing back at her own reflection as her fingertips ran down her bare side. soon enough there would be permanent ink there and that made her nervous but also quite excited. she drew in a deep breathe as she looked at her phone to check the time before grabbing a t-shirt and pulling it on over her thin frame. she glanced around her apartment once more before heading out the door. she was on her way to rex's apartment where he would tattoo her. something about his tattoos just drove her crazy inside. she couldn't ever seem to keep her eyes off of them or her hands rather. she had been spending a lot of time with him as of late trying to keep herself out of the office as much as possible. she enjoyed her time with him and for once in a very long time did not feel the need to see anyone else. sohvi could never handle being in a labelled relationship for fear she would break the unspoken rules of intimacy. she had trouble staying faithful to her significant other always blaming it on her age with the saying - you only live once. the gusty wind of new york city blew against her bare skin as she sprinted off towards a taxi that was heading this way. she quickly opened the yellow door and sat down as she directed the taxi driver where to go.
The car ride seemed to take an eternity as she rested her head against the headrest. she felt a bit anxious about all of this even though she had given it over a year of thought. she trusted rex and his abilities knowing very well that he would do his best for her. she sank into the seat as the car came to a halt. she dug into her purse fishing out her wallet as she listened to the dollar amount the taxi driver mumbled. she forked over the cash as she exited the vehicle and looked at the building in front of her. she was second guessing things now as she hurriedly made her way into his apartment building. she had forgotten her jacket in her fit of anxiety. she wandered down the halls making her way to the familiar apartment. she rested her head against the door as she closed her eyes. she took in one last deep breathe before she let balled her hand into a fist and banged on the door alerting him of her presence. finally, she had taken the plunge knowing she was one hundred percent committed to this. she left her head on the door so when he opened it she lost her balance a bit and fell right into him.
Laughter escaped her lips as she looked up at him and blushed softly. "sorry, i'm really out of it." she said as she laughed a bit more before looking up and pressing her lips to his own. "you ready to tatt me up?!" she asked as she pulled off her shirt and flexed her so-called muscles before falling into another fit of laughter. humor was her way of calming down situations that seemed to make her nervous. she pressed her tiny frame against his once more in a hug before wandering around his apartment. she felt as if she was at home when she came her. she was used to spending the night here every once in awhile though this was all still new to her. she was still testing the waters but seemed to feel more and more comfortable as the days went by.

- - - Everyday was a cycle. the sun came up over the countless sky scrapers and condos around the city; eventually the piercing fingers would eventually creep their way through the blinds of a ninth floor new york apartment. it was the one thing that rex, as anyone with a eastern facing window, dreaded. it was a sign that seven o'clock was approaching and the scrawny boy would have to hoist himself from the warm sheets and make the decision to go to class or ditch for what must have been the tenth time this semester. class, home, and drinking for the night was about the most interesting things about the week. the only thing that made the day any different was the occasional girls that he decided to bring home. it took a lot of effort to keep his interest and he liked to think he had exceedingly high standards for the girls that he took to his bed. in his mind there was a difference between screwing a girl in the backseat of his tacky sports car and taking a girl home - even if they were to be kicked out as soon as he was done with them and never seen again. he was superficial and selfish when it came to women, but he could be as charming and determined as it took to get a girl into bed. which, ultimately, was to be his own demise when it came to matters of the heart. he was used to the girls that put out and left him breathless, he was used to giving girls what they wanted - a committed relationship - even if it was only one-sided, but it always ended the same. he would end up spotting some girl on campus, pull her off to some secluded area and screw her just to prove to himself that he wasn't attached. it was a silly point to prove and a meaningless act that only left all parties uncomfortable. - - - The second rex asked the beautiful brunette to be in an actual relationship with him, he hadn't quite known what came over him. he had offered to take her to paris, he was known for going all out for girls and had no issue spending his families money on acquiring a bed mate, but it didn't seem as if it was truly needed with sohvi. yet with her, he had decided that he should at least make the effort. it had been over a year that he had been in a serious relationship, and before that it was an open relationship with a girl he seldom even spoke to after the fact. sohvi was different in many ways, and if nothing else, he was curious about her. he felt like every time they spoke he was learning different little quirks about her. he had her over more often than he allowed most of his exes to have ever come over, but he was content knowing that there was someone else in his apartment at night. someone that wasn't going to get up and leave before the sun rose. maybe it was a sign of finally growing up, but it was becoming more comfortable knowing that there was a cycle that his life was following, whether it was temporary or not. "fuck..." the boy groaned as the sun finally inched it's way into his room. throwing a pillow at the window as if it was supposed to battle the treacherous rays, he buried his face in the mattress before remembering that he had made the promise to tattoo sohvi today and he had to hunt down the ink and tattoo gun somewhere within the mess that was his apartment. it was generous to say that rex lived in a bit of a pigsty. - - - Pushing himself from the comfortable bed, rex managed to stumble across his bedroom, passing piles of laundry that needed to be done and a floor lamp that had been knocked over, something that had probably happened while intoxicated the previous night. a bottle of vodka could be easily downed in a night, perhaps two or three if he really restrained himself, but rex was one that got bored and felt the need to drink whenever he was sitting at home alone. he made the effort not to drink when anyone was coming over, but most other nights it was simply something to keep him occupied. shrugging at the sight of his bedroom being a mess, he made his way to the dresser wear he found a pair of jeans and a tank that he quickly tugged on before going to his closet to hunt down the gun. upon find it, he set it up on the side table of his living room couch. pulling out a trash bag, rex attempted to clean up some of the excess trash. he may have been a mess, but he always at least attempted to clear out the food and alcohol mess that he had a habit of simply leaving where ever he had consumed it. at the sound of the door, he dropped the bag by the side of the couch and opened the door to greet the small girl. "hey" he mumbled as he felt her framed fall into his. he was caught off guard by her entrance and was surprised by her laughter. raising an eye brow, he watched her make herself at home while he made himself clear his head from wanting to simply take her to his bedroom. she was here for a reason, and that was not it. "make yourself comfortable on the couch, you're going to be sitting there for awhile. do you want anything to drink or something? i think i have water and... well, mostly water, soda, and alcohol, but that'll thin your blood too much. so you want some water?" grabbing a chair from the kitchen, he took a seat next to the couch and began to fiddle with the adjustments on the gun, loading the ink and making sure it was working properly. "oh, and depending on how much you bleed, we might not even be able to finish today. " he leaned forward to kiss the girl on her forhead and examine the spot he was planning on tattooing her. "still the ribs?" status complete. clothes lol @ his legs. music the beatles. notes sorry this took forever and still sucked! [/blockquote][/blockquote][/sup]

She immediately saw the tattoo guns on the floor and got a little nervous. she took in a deep breathe before taking a seat on the couch. she was going to go through with this - she had made up her mind. she felt his lips press against her forehead and a small smile appeared on her face as she tried to hide her anxiety. she was snapped back into reality as she heard his voice once more "yes, still the ribs." she said before unbuckling her bra. she felt a little odd being half naked in his living room. she tried to make herself comfortable on the couch knowing she would be there for quite sometime. "babe, please don't make this hurt too much."
she said softy as she felt his hands going over her ribs examining the spot that she had chosen. she didn't want to see a lot of blood. she would feel like she was dying or something equally dramatic. she closed her eyes and dug her face into a pillow as she squeezed it tight to her face. "i'm so nervous." she whispered softly into the pillow unsure if rex was able to hear her or not. [/sub] She was very well aware that this day would come and she had been mentally preparing herself for it - or so she thought. She reached out and grabbed Rex's hand before he started and gave him a faint smile "I like you." she whispered softly before burying her head back into the pillow hoping she wouldn't show any sign of pain. She heard him turn on the gun and felt it press against her skin. She took in a deep breathe and bit down on her lip. This wasn't as bad as she was expecting but it hurt regardless. the time seemed to inch by slower and slower and she didn't even dare to look down to see what was going on. "am i going to bleed out and die?" she managed to say as she looked over at him hoping she wasn't distracting him from his task at hand. - - - It wasn't very often that rex found someone that would allow him to practice his tattooing in the middle of his living room while neither of them were under the influence of any sort of narcotic - legal or otherwise. allowing his eyes to trail over the petite brunette's form as she shed more clothing, rex couldn't help allow his eyes to linger over each curve of her frame. he may be able to keep business and pleasure seperated but she was still his girlfriend and a very attractive girl at that. biting his inner cheek, rex snatched his lustful glare away to focus on the tattoo gun and think about the actual art he was going to be putting on her body. it probably would have been a good idea to actually draw the picture out and bleed it onto her skin as a template, but he was used to doing almost all of his own tattooes and his friends ink without using a pattern, so he had no desire to do so this time either. smirking at the requesting, he reached over and ran his hand through her hair, gently patting the side of her head and cheek. you trust me, right? you're going to be fine. don't even worry about it. as soon as i get going it'll numb over and you'll get used to the stabbing. mentally cursing himself for his word choice of 'stabbing,' he pulled away again. he cleaned the future tattoos home with alcohol, santitized all of his equipment and began adjusting the gun to go. - - - Hearing the mumble of her voice, rex ignored it and began his work on the feather. it was an easy enough design and it was easy to fix any small errors that could be made during the initial tattoo. as sohvi grabbed his hand, he jumped slightly. he wasn't typically a jumpy boy, but her hand against his and the words that followed made him almost uncomfortable. it was a good feeling in his universe, but it was enough to leave an uncomfortable feeling in his gut. thats not surprisng, everyone likes me." attempting to make light of the awkward feeling he felt at her exclaimation, rex sat in silence for a moment before replying seriously. "i like you too, kid." as soon as he started, he attempted to go as slow as he dared with the first initial pricks, rex occassionally glanced up to check her reaction to the first few minutes of the needles slamming into her flesh. it wasn't an easy experience and was not a painless on, no matter where you get it, but it could be tolerated after you've gotten used to the feeling. for a first timer, it wasn't exactly a welcome feeling. keeping a very focused expression on his face, rex focused on the art, even while she spoke. i'm not going to lie to you sohvi, you might bleed to death. it's pretty bad down here..." She was well aware that her relationship with Rex was a bit unusual. He wasn't very expressive with his emotions and she never once questioned it though it was constantly on her mind. She was always second guessing herself wondering if she had fallen into a trap where she was only being used. All the time they spent together seemed to prove differently though. She knew he had to have feelings for her. He had to feel something even if it was simply lust. Although he was not expressive she was. After he words left her lips she bit down on her lip hard at the reaction she got. She was aware that he used sarcasm to downplay situations because she did the same. She drew in a sharp breathe as she focused on the physical pain rather then the confusing emotions. She built up the idea in her head that this tattoo was going to be the most painful thing she would ever experience but it fell short of expectations.
The sound of his voice tore her away from her thoughts as she heard him utter 'I like you too, kid' and she felt as if she was his little sister just begging to hear those three little words. She pulled her hand away and grabbed the pillow in front of her hoping that soon enough all of this would be over. Was she being too critical of him? She was judging his every move in hopes that she would get the reaction she was looking for. She had to remind herself not to move as she drew in a deep breathe "WHAT!?"
she exclaimed completely unaware of his sarcasm. "Stop. Stop right now. I'm done." [/sub] music, none. wardrobe, click.notes, hahahaha dramatic crazy girl. this is what you get when i write replies at nearly 2 am. [/blockquote][/blockquote]
