WHAT DO YOU DO ? -- i work as a secretary to a man who owns a gym, or at least a portion of a gym. i'm not sure how it all works for them, but i tend to do a lot of organizing, sorting, making calls, and generally taking care of business that my boss can't deal with that day. most of my day is spent around work. even when i'm off the clock, i generally keep my cell close at hand in case he needs something while i'm away. i have a pretty strict schedule every week - which is actually the best part of my job and home life. it's good to know exactly what i'm going to be doing that day. any down time that i have i spend either reading or watching tv. i enjoy writing, but i haven't done that in ages. i also take care of my baby brother since my parents decided it was okay to have another child at their age and how much travelling to "saving the world" they do.
FAVORITE FOOD? -- i like a lot of different things, i guess. this may come across as weird, but i really enjoy bread. sourdough bread just plain, or even rye. love that too. i also like everything bread and lots of other kinds. i also enjoy sandwiches on bagels, salt and vinegar chips, chocolate covered frozen bannanas, warheads, and nearly any kind of greek food. i like to try anything foreign, though. i've even had balute - which was disgusting, by the way.
HAVE ANY PHOBIAS -- terrified of heights. thats about all there is, though. i just hate being up too high, which is really embarrassing because i love roller coasters, but i hate going on them because of how tall they are. i also am afraid of those fish in africa that jump out of the water and try to bite women's boobs off. apparently they can get to be huge. thats not really a phobia, though, it's just something i fear. which i believe there's a difference.
HOBBIES? -- i read a lot of books. you know those lists online where they're all "the bbc says that most people have only read x books out of the 100 on this list," i've been attempting to read every single book on the list. i've got 27 left to read so i'm already feeling pretty accomplished - not to mention i've read plenty that aren't on the list at all. i have an entire bookcase in my living room that hold all my books, organized in a very specific way. first i seperate them by genre, then my country of origin, then alphabetically by surname. it makes it loads easier to find books considering how massive my collection is. i've also attempted to organize by century, but with my job, i don't have as much time to re-organize it. besides reading, i enjoy theme parks, carnivals - the really tacky ones with the shady carnie folk operating rides that look like their one bolt shy of crashing down and killing everyone. kayaking is also a lot of fun, so is diving, but i've yet to actually get licensed for that.
BEST PARTY EVER? -- thats easy it's the ones that you will never remember. isn't that really the point of a good party? getting so wasted that you don't even remember the night before. you know that movie nick and norah's infinite playlist, how they have that girl caroline who gets so wasted she doesn't know what's happening? once upon a time, that was me. i cannot handle my alcohol. at. all. i take a shot or two and i'm wasted. so there was this one party i went to where i basically just hit my limit and kept going until i woke up in the back seat of someone's car.
LOOKING FORWARD TO? -- well, i've gone to college. i got a degree in international studies. took a bunch of classes to learn a whole bunch of different languages and the like. i've not done anything with this degree, though, clearly. not to mention it was only an associates degree because i chose not to get a four year education. so i've accomplished getting an education, i've got a job that caters to some of my qualities, and i like to believe i'm on the right track in life. the next steps in my life are getting married, having a normal family, things like that. i don't really intend on doing so immediately, but it is on my list for things that i'm looking forward to in life.
MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT? -- besides my entire teenage life and the entire time i was in college playing the alcohol game, i suppose it was probably the time i tore my skirt in public. i was wearing a pencil skirt at work - stereotypical secretary move, right? - and i wasn't paying attention to where i was going so i walked into something and it caught on sharp corner, and ripped a big hole in the side. it was in front of a few clients so that was not a hi-light of my life. it was one of those times where i was grateful i carry a change of clothes in my car at all times.
AND FUNNIEST? -- probably the same thing, actually. i drew attention to myself because i laughed hysterically for a good twenty minutes before i stole my bosses jacket to cover it and made my way to my car to change.
WHAT ANNOYS YOU? -- when i walk into the office and it's a complete mess. it's great because i have things to do, but it's really obnoxious at the same time. i also hate when people make a mess in my apartment.
IDEAL MATE? -- someone successful. no, not because i'm a gold digger or anything like that, but if i'm going to be with someone, i want it to be with someone that has their life on track even if i don't currently know where i'm going. attractive is a must and preferrably someone that isn't going to travel around the world instead of wanting to settle and have a normal family. i just want normal, really.
WHO DO YOU ADMIRE? -- rita hayworth. not only does she share a surname, but she was a beautiful woman and the inspiration for jessica rabbit. who is definitely my favorite disney character.
WHO ARE YOUR PARENTS? -- my parents are morons. they're missionaries from north dakota who gave birth to me and my brother in new zealand. we lived there for some years, but as soon as we were old enough to go along with my parents on their trips, we got lifted from our home and taken to exotic places that i could have cared less about visiting.
SIBLINGS? -- i have two brothers. one of them is just a bit over a year old, and the other is older than myself, but only very slightly older. we've always been really close, but at the moment i don't think i've talked to him in nearly six months.______________________________
