who were you in high school? not to brag or anything, but i was the all american girl in high school. my senior year i was the captain of the cheer squad, homecoming and prom queen, you know, the popular girl. i was dating the captain of the varsity football team, and we were the perfect couple. we were both smart, straight-a students, but i was such a bitch. i had no regard for anyone else unless they were in my circle, and i was judgmental. i'm not proud of that person but of the accomplishments.
college & major, [/i] nyu & law
marital status, [/i] divorced/it's complicated
kids, [/i]
how many, 2
names & how you chose it, bailey shae rowan, 5 & ramsey wyatt rowan, 5. it was a joint effort between their father and i. bailey's middle name was a homage to my middle name, and ramsey was named after his father's mother's maiden name. complicated, i know.
job, [/i] nyc strip club
position, stripper
how long you’ve had the job, a few years
are you happy, it pays for school and my apartment, so i'm as happy as i can be.
what is your salary, it varies, but i never leave with less than $350 every night i work.
what kind of things do you spend money on, clothes for me and my kids, groceries, school expenses, bills, etc.
what’s your typical day like, [/i]
difficult. i have this scheduled routine for my kids and me: my day starts early, i start by making the kids breakfast and getting them up, then while they're eating i work on getting myself ready. by the time they're done, it's back to getting them ready. beds made, toys put away, teeth brushed, etc. then i drop them off at school then it's off to school for me as well. when my classes are over, i've got a few free hours to run errands or study, and then it's off to pick them up. we hang out for a few hours, read books. once it nears seven o'clock, i've got to get ready for work so my friend/baby sitter comes over, and i head to work. it's basically like that every day. it's definitely hard going to school with two kids whose dad really could not care less about them, but we make it work. it's been a little easier now that they're getting older, but i'm exhausted 99% of the time.
what life dreams did you have in high-school, have you accomplished them, [/i]
i wanted to be a professional cheerleader, and i might have done that if it weren't for my "undying" love for my ex-husband, and my curious and burning desire to get married. obviously things have changed since then, and i'm now going to law school full time, and my dreams of being a professional cheerleader are far behind me.
what is a significant change within the past five years, [/i]
i still feel as if it were yesterday i was calling my ex to let him know we're pregnant and that we're having twins. it's been a crazy roller coaster of a ride, but i wouldn't change it for the world. they're my rock, and most moms would look down on my lifestyle choice, but it won't be much longer before we're living comfortably back in dallas, texas.
are you the same person you were five years ago, [/i]
i don't think anyone is. back then i was selfish and all about myself. my only thought was 'will this benefit me?' now, i've got two children to think of, and i can't afford to be selfish. five years is a long time, and just the right amount of time to learn and grow and change the things about yourself that you don't like. that doesn't go without saying that my kids played a huge part in my maturing. they'll do that to you.
if you could go back and change one thing what would it be, [/i]
getting married so early. i was obsessed with my high school sweetheart, and i felt the only other option was to get married. things would be better, i'd be more of an adult, but i was so wrong. i'm now freshly divorced, and i can honestly say that was one of the dumbest mistakes i've ever made.
what is one thing you feel has remained the same, [/i]
how determined i am. even when i was young i always had this certain determination in me, and i feel that nothing that's happened to me in the past years can ever take that way from me. i'll be that way until i die, probably.
what is your biggest achievement, [/i]
raising two kids single-handedly.
and your biggest mistake, [/i]
getting a job as a stripper, but it pays my bills.
finally, what is your fondest life memory thus far,[/i]
my kids first birthday. it was in the summer, and they spent it in my hometown of dallas, texas with my family. it was a comforting day, and one of the best i've had since they've been born. there was no pressure from school or work, it was just family and making memories.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/sub][/font]
