who were you in high school? i wasn't really involved with many outside clubs or organziations in high school. nor was i just within one group. i wasn't the rich girl everyone thought i was. i swayed between groups, and i had only a few close friends. lily west has always been my best friend. she was really the only girl i could trust with all of my secrets. i was sort of the dork in high school. i dated around, mostly guys on the baseball team. i went to parties and just mainly did my own thing. it wasn't until junior year that i became infatuated with fashion and all of that. my parents sent me away to this summer camp thing and my interest just blew up from there.
college & major, [/i] wood tobe coburn school, fashion merchandising & management
marital status, [/i] single, very single
kids, [/i] none!
how many,
names & how you chose it,
job, [/i] seventeen magazine
position, editorial internfood, school, tuition, shoes, clothes, lily, sienna, my dogs, the family, the usual!
how long you’ve had the job, three weeks
are you happy, of course!
what is your salary, good enough!
what kind of things do you spend money on,
what’s your typical day like, [/i]
Wake up around 7:30 or 8:00, if it's a weekday. I usually drag myself out of bed and fix me something to eat. After eating, i'll usually do my morning routine, curl my hair, and get dressed. After that, I'll head on to the local Starbucks, get my usual, and then head on to the Seventeen offices to start my day. After the internship, I'll usually go home, change, and then go for a run. After that, I'll go out for lunch and then head over to school for my two afternoon classes. Then, I'll head back to my apartment, change and eat dinner and then head out for the night!
what life dreams did you have in high-school, have you accomplished them, [/i]
I actually really didn't have that many 'life dreams' in high school. I mean, it was always a dream to work for Seventeen and i'm living that out right now. So, I guess doing my internship would basically be called accomplishing one of my dreams?
what is a significant change within the past five years, [/i]
My body would definitley be a signifcant change. I'm not struggling with the way I see myself. I mean, yeah. For sure, that.
are you the same person you were five years ago, [/i]
Hell no. Five years ago, I was struggling with personal issues every day of my life. Seeing myself as being overweight and in reality, I was about to die from being way too thin. I didn't trust myself, I didn't trust anybody. I had to struggle just to get up for school, every morning. Things weren't good for me. I got out of that tough spot and here I am.. better than ever!
if you could go back and change one thing what would it be, [/i]
Being able to accept how I looked before my whole anorexia thing. I wish I could've seen myself the way everyone else did, you know? But I didn't, and I surely paid the consequences of it!
what is one thing you feel has remained the same, [/i]
My relationship with Sienna. The two of us have always been so close and we've always had the normal sisterly bond. I would do anything and everything for her, if she asked. I can't go a day without talking to her. She's my biggest supporter in everything I do, and I love her to death. I really really do.
what is your biggest achievement, [/i]
Being able to find something to call mine. Which is the internship at Seventeen. I know it's something for the school, but it really has been a big achievement for me, you know?
and your biggest mistake, [/i]
Risking my life because I thought I wasn't "beautiful".
finally, what is your fondest life memory thus far,[/i]
My graduation trip with Lily. We went on a summer tour of the U.K. and we just had the best time in the world. We went shopping, touring, and ate the most fabuluous food in the world. I wouldn't have traded it for the world, really![/blockquote][/blockquote][/sub][/font]
