[/i] lily elisabethname,
age, [/i] twenty-two
high school, [/i] pope john paul ii
who were you in high school? i was just another one of the girls
college & major, [/i] ucla & biology
marital status, [/i] engaged
kids, [/i]
how many, onesamuel cooper, 22 months old
names & how you chose it,
job, [/i] unemployed
position, mother
how long you’ve had the job, 22 months
are you happy, more so than i could have imagined
what is your salary, $0.00
what kind of things do you spend money on, diapers, baby food, etc.
what’s your typical day like, [/i]
i spend my days chasing after sammy and doing typical mom things. i clean, cook, and i take care of my son which might seem sort of average but it's sort of a handful most of the time.
what life dreams did you have in high-school, have you accomplished them, [/i]
i wanted to be a doctor and while i've put that on the back burner for a bit it's not diminished. i still want to be involved in the medical field but the position might have changed.
what is a significant change within the past five years, [/i]
hah, what hasn't changed in the past five years? i've become a mother and i'm also engaged. i never really expected this and if you would have asked me five years ago if i saw that in my future i would have laughed in your face.
are you the same person you were five years ago, [/i]
no, five years ago i was sort of a nervous wreck and seventeen years old. i was still in high school and still so self conscious that i couldn't eat a meal in front of other people without worrying they would judge me.
if you could go back and change one thing what would it be, [/i]
i wouldn't let my mother take advantage of me as she has done in the past. she's really diminished my confidence as a kid and a teenager and i was never really brave enough to stand up to her and i wish i could change that.
what is one thing you feel has remained the same, [/i]
overall i still have the same morals and i'm still the same person to a certain degree.
what is your biggest achievement, [/i]
when i found out i was pregnant i was absolutely terrified that i was going to mess something up. i was always worried that i wouldn't know what to do when sammy finally arrived but he's grown to be a the sweetest little baby and while it's been difficult i'm just proud of myself for that.
and your biggest mistake, [/i]
i wouldn't really know what to say here but maybe taking so long to realize that
finally, what is your fondest life memory thus far,[/i]
as terrible as giving birth was it was all worth it when i finally got to hold sammy in my arms for the first time. i still can't really get over how perfect he is to me.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/sub][/font]
