[/i] katarina caia dobransky-carmichaelname,
nicknames, [/i] kitty.
age, [/i] nineteen.
hometown, [/i] prague, czech republic.
high school, [/i] homeschooled.
who were you in high school? the circus was my home from a very, very young age. so i did not achieve the same education that many other children my age would have gained. it was not a poor one, but it taught me more about the world and the things i needed to know to survive than a regular high school would have. since my parents and the others that worked with us were our primary educators, i do not really know who i would have become if i went through normal schooling. with my parents careers and my upbringing, we didn't have much time to waste on trivial things. everyone contributed to our learning. if i went to a normal school, perhaps i would have been seen as weird? my sister and i, i mean. we were acrobats from the time we were old enough to do a cartwheel. maybe we'd have been... i do not know what we'd be called. quirky? i think thats it. maybe even weird or who knows. i worry to think that other kids would have treated us poorly because of our jobs. we had friends, of course, but who knows what we'd have been like at school.
marital status, [/i] married to alexander carmichael.
kids, [/i] none.
how many, someday i plan on having children but at the present time, i have none. especially not with my present husband. do not mention it to him, of course, but i really have no sexual desire for him. he wants children though, so we'll see where that goes.
names & how you chose it, oh boy, i already know that if i had a little boy i would name him godfrey! is that weird? well, perhaps not, but i really do think it's the cutest name ever. my husband wants to name his children after himself and his grandmother. is that not something terribly creepy?
job, [/i] ummm. is my wifely duties a job? it is very difficult.
position, i do not really have a position, i suppose.
how long you’ve had the job, only a year, now. our anniversary has just past, but he did not see me. for that it has made me sad and happy at the same time.
are you happy, a wife should be happy but i am more happy with those outside of my marriage.
what is your salary, alex makes a lot of money.
what kind of things do you spend money on, ummm. i do not know.
what’s your typical day like, [/i]
i wake up very early. i prefer to be up and dressed before my husband. normally in martha's vineyard we have a very set routine. it's comfortable. when he's on business, i like to sleep until late in the day. while i'm in new york, i plan on doing so as well. i go to a lot of parties to look pretty and drink cocktails and ... umm, i do not really know why we go, but he says it looks good for him.
what life dreams did you have in high-school, have you accomplished them, [/i]
i did not go to school, but i did want to be a good wife someday. my parents were very determined for me and my sister to be wed proper, so i was very happy to do that.
what is a significant change within the past five years, [/i]
i was married! my life is very, very different. i used to wake when i wanted as long as it was on time to get ready for the next show (if there was one, i mean) and do my chorese. i played with horses and lions and i played with other children that had parents like ours. we were close and we lived in prague. i met my husband while he was on vacation and soon after we were married and he swept me away to america. it's a very different world.
are you the same person you were five years ago, [/i]
inside i think i am the same person, even if i do things i am not always proud for, but i am the same. i just have to act differently.
if you could go back and change one thing what would it be, [/i]
i do not understand... why would i change?
what is one thing you feel has remained the same, [/i]
me and my sister. we have been apart for a long time, but i think we are still very much as close as before.
what is your biggest achievement, [/i]
being married, of course. thats what my mother always said to me. "women make wonderful wives and you will be a beautiful bride for a very good man someday." of course, not in english. she does not know the language.
and your biggest mistake, [/i]
ahhh, leaving my sister when she definitely needed me! of course she is a strong girl, but she was married as well, so i should be there for her.
finally, what is your fondest life memory thus far,[/i]
growing up of course. everything about the circus was grand. i loved it and i truly do still love it. i would love to take my husband back someday, but i do not think he would much enjoy it.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/sub][/font]
